Tata Harrier will be the first car to receive a safety rating under India's own star rating regime called Bharat NCAP. Other Indian car manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, and Mahindra have also offered some variants of their upcoming models for rating under Bharat NCAP. Additionally, a major player plans to offer one of its EV models in January and a total of six by 2024 for the rating.
